MCL’s Quality Management System ensures that the coal and electricity supplied meets all the customers’ requirements.

To achieve this, the Company will:

• Promote a high degree of quality awareness throughout the organization.
• Employ scientific and modern methods of mining and electricity generation.
• Use modern and efficient machinery, equipment and processes in all operations.
• Deploy trained manpower for mining, processing and electricity generation.
• Maintain a well-equipped laboratory for quality testing.
• Assess quality systems and results to bring about improvements in quality.
• Ensure that the customers’ requirements are thoroughly understood and are adequately satisfied/met through appropriate product quality, service delivery and pricing.
• Institute a system to redress customers’ complaints.
